NightSMP Terms of Service

By joining, accessing, or using NightSMP, including our Minecraft server, Discord server, website, store, and other services, you agree to follow these Terms of Service.

1. General Rules

You agree to:

• Follow all NightSMP rules and staff instructions.

• Treat other players and staff with respect.

• Not harass, threaten, scam, impersonate, or intentionally disrupt other members.

• Not use cheats, hacked clients, exploits, or unauthorized modifications that provide an unfair advantage.

• Not attempt to bypass punishments, bans, mutes, or other restrictions.

• Not abuse bugs or exploits. Report serious bugs to the NightSMP staff team instead.

• Not advertise other servers, services, or communities without permission.

2. Minecraft Server

NightSMP is an independently operated Minecraft server.

We may:

• Change, remove, or add features at any time.

• Perform maintenance or temporarily shut down services.

• Reset or modify gameplay features when necessary.

• Remove content that violates our rules or negatively affects the server.

Server progress, items, statistics, balances, ranks, and other virtual content may be changed or removed when necessary.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your Minecraft and Discord accounts secure.

Do not share your account with other people if doing so could result in rule violations or security issues.

NightSMP staff will never ask for your password or account login information.

4. Purchases and Store Items

Purchases made through the NightSMP store are subject to the store's policies and applicable payment-provider rules.

Virtual items, ranks, cosmetics, and other digital benefits have no real-world monetary value.

NightSMP may change or remove store benefits when necessary, provided that applicable laws and payment-provider requirements are followed.

Do not make unauthorized chargebacks or fraudulent payment claims.

5. Punishments

NightSMP staff may issue warnings, mutes, kicks, temporary bans, permanent bans, or other restrictions when they determine that rules have been violated.

Punishments may also be issued for behavior that seriously harms the NightSMP community, even if the exact behavior is not specifically listed in these Terms.

6. Staff Decisions

Staff members are responsible for enforcing the NightSMP rules.

If you believe a punishment was incorrect, use the appropriate appeal system rather than attempting to evade the punishment.

Staff decisions may be reviewed by higher-ranking staff when an appeal is submitted.

7. User Content

By submitting content to NightSMP, such as suggestions, applications, reports, screenshots, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content.

Do not submit illegal, abusive, hateful, threatening, or intentionally harmful content.

8. Privacy

NightSMP may collect information necessary to operate and protect the server, such as Minecraft usernames, Discord usernames/IDs, moderation records, and server-related activity.

Do not submit passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information to staff through public channels.

9. Availability

NightSMP is provided on an ongoing basis, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

The server may experience:

• Maintenance

• Downtime

• Updates

• Technical problems

• Network outages

• Data loss

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service operational.

10. Changes to These Terms

NightSMP may update these Terms of Service when necessary.

The latest version will be made available through our official channels. Continued use of NightSMP after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
